Ndima Healthcare is a family-run care agency and healthcare staffing provider rooted in Peterborough, supporting people at home and organisations across local communities.
Our work started with providing nurses, healthcare assistants and support workers to care homes, nursing homes, hospitals and other care organisations. As our reputation for reliable staffing grew, families and clients began asking for care at home too. Today, we provide visiting care, live-in care, respite care, personal care and healthcare staffing with the same focus: quality, community, transparency and consistency.
Based in Peterborough, we support people looking for care at home in areas such as Werrington, Orton, Hampton, Glinton, Market Deeping, Spalding and surrounding PE postcodes.
Tell us what has changed at home and we will talk through the kind of support that may help.
Ndima Healthcare was built from practical experience in staffing, compliance and care delivery.
Our journey began in healthcare recruitment, supporting care homes, nursing homes, hospitals and other healthcare organisations with temporary and permanent staff. That background matters because good care depends on good people, clear systems, proper training and reliable communication.
Over time, clients asked whether we could also support people directly in their own homes. We listened. Our home care service grew from that demand, helping people remain safe, comfortable and independent at home.
We now support both families and organisations through two connected areas of work:
Visiting care, live-in care, personal care, companionship, respite care and support with daily routines.
Reliable healthcare assistants, nurses and support workers for healthcare organisations.
At Ndima Healthcare, our mission is to take responsibility for our part in the care and support of others, and to do it well.
In Shona, “ndima” is a portion of a family field given to an individual to work on. Each person has their own ndima, but the harvest belongs to the whole family and community.
We chose this name because it reflects how we see our role. We are trusted with one part of a much bigger picture in people’s lives and in the wider health and social care system.
For the people we support at home, our ndima is the care we provide day to day: helping them live safely, with dignity, independence and a sense of belonging.
For the organisations we work with, our ndima is the staff we supply and the way we work alongside their teams: reliable, prepared and aligned with their standards, so that together we can provide consistent, high-quality care.
In every setting, we aim to carry our portion of the work with integrity, cultural awareness and respect, knowing that what we do affects not just individuals, but their families, colleagues and communities.
We are based in Peterborough and support families and organisations across Peterborough, Spalding, Market Deeping, Glinton and nearby areas.
If you are looking for care for yourself, a parent, partner or loved one, we can talk through what is happening at home and what support may be available in your area. We also support healthcare organisations that need reliable staff. Please contact us to confirm current availability for your exact postcode.
Families often contact us because something has changed at home. A parent may be struggling with meals, washing, medication, confidence after hospital discharge, loneliness, or simply needing someone trusted to check in.

Request staffing support →At Ndima Healthcare, our values guide how we support individuals, families and organisations every day. Whether we are providing home care in Peterborough, visiting care, live-in care, respite support or healthcare staffing, the same values shape how we work.
Our goal is to support people and services to achieve the best possible outcomes. This means maintaining high standards in safe practice, reliable staffing, ongoing training and continuous improvement. Quality is not a one-off achievement, but something we review, measure and build on over time.
We recognise that no person, team or organisation stands alone. We value a sense of community with our staff, the people we support, their families and our partner organisations. We aim to create a culture where everyone feels respected, listened to and part of a shared effort to improve care.
We know that open, honest communication leads to better outcomes. The people we support, those important to them, and the organisations we work with deserve clear information and the opportunity to be involved in decisions about care. Transparency in our documentation, conversations and decisions is central to how we work.
We believe consistency is essential for safe, person-centred care. Wherever possible, we aim to provide familiar staff who understand the routines, preferences and needs within each home or service. This reduces the need for families and organisations to repeat information and helps us deliver genuinely personalised support.
